At Fierce Grace, we offer a unique yoga system for everyone, based on classical Hatha, Bikram and Ashtanga yoga styles. Michele Pernetta’s series of classes all apply the same core principles though each may have a different emphasis, duration or intensity. Fierce Grace Muswell Hill will start by offering six of the various Fierce Grace classes – Fierce Grace, Deep Core, The Fix, Primal, IN and Stiff, Old & Broken. All of our classes are perfect for hot yoga beginners and advanced practitioners looking for complete wellbeing.

Our user-friendly but challenging general level class. Hip openers, deep twists, upper body strengtheners, bum and ab toners, this fully rounded workout works 100% of the body. It is a combination of Hatha, Power and Ashtanga yoga, Interval and Core Training and offers peak fitness, strength, flexibility and relaxation. Performed to music, this class is designed to develop a sense of enjoyment and freedom and to allow one’s breath and energy to fuel the practice. Key benefits:

The deepest stretch out there. Suitable for beginners and advanced students alike, this is an alignment class, both motivating and relaxing. Floor-based, allowing us to connect deeply with body and breath. Designed to realign posture and release stress. The slower pace allows time to learn correct alignment and work on flexibility and with injuries. Key benefits:

The condensed version of everything with some added surprises. This is a super-charged class designed to get you fitter faster when you are high on motivation but low on time. A mix of Classic and FG, with a focus on arms, abs and stamina. Students familiar with Classic and FG classes only should be doing this class as a “top-up.” Key benefits:

Our class for beginners, injured, stiff, and unfit. In Stiff, Old or Broken (SOB) you will experience rehabilitation exercises to strengthen core, lower back, hamstrings and sacrum areas. Safe, effective, scientifically-proven exercises woven into template yoga poses to provide a safe environment for people to bring stabilization to overly loose or vulnerable areas, as well as flexibility to tight areas. Core and back are safely strengthened and engaged. Key benefits:

A deep, slow class, based entirely on the floor. This class is yoga physiotherapy, deeply correcting, aligning and releasing. You will open your hips, spine, neck, shoulders and wrists carefully, deeply and softly. You will go from active poses to gradually getting wound down, de-stressed and softened, ending with a long guided meditation. Key benefits:

Awaken your primal instincts and get in prime condition. The evolution of the Classic Class. We took the best of our foundation poses, added developments and new sequencing and created a 60 minute class that is safe for newcomers whilst moving the avid FG-o-phile into new areas. This grounding but challenging class has been reworked to include a breath led Warrior sequence, new poses, core work and arm strengthening. Key benefits:

Move your practise along wherever openings occur for you. Cleverly sequenced to embrace all levels, FG2 straddles Fierce Grace and The Beast allowing more experienced students deeper exploration of advanced poses, while beginners can remain safely in the earlier expression of the pose.
